Butterfly Wallpaper - Novelty Print Decorating Ideas

Have you ever thought about using novelty prints like this Butterfly wallpaper, in your home? Well, why not?

Butterflies are hot at the moment and are always loved as they are inspired from nature.
They are fun and have a lot of different colors. That’s why this is a great novelty print pattern to put in a guest bedroom, den or powder room. Wallpaper: Butterfly from the Chelsea Lane Collection

We call them conversational prints, which started in the 1950's, and these whimsical, novelty wallpapers provide a fun source of conversation in your home.

I would recommend mixing this butterfly wallpaper with plaids, toiles, stripes and textures for fabrics.

Another wallpaper that would coordinate with this perfectly is a navy printed grasscloth. Rich in layers of various blues and very textural, a grasscloth design is great for a hallway, den or adjacent powder room. The grasscloth is a perfect coordinate pattern to be used in a hallway outside a guest bedroom that is papered with the butterfly print. Mixing textures with novelty print wallpapers is easy and creates a nice flow visually from one room into another throughout a home.

You could use this printed navy grasscloth, shown in the video or we also offer a navy vinyl grasscloth. We also have a real grasscloth from the new Daisy Bennett grasscloth collection. I personally love all grasscloth textures as they are sophisticated and easily blend with other wallpaper designs.
