Another Design Tip blog post for you today, so let me show you how a real textured wallpaper can add a designer element to any room.

Layered wallpaper patterns really do add dimension to a rooms atmosphere.

Adding a string to a wallpaper instantly creates a luxurious feel and look in an interior space.

In this entranceway, we have featured a diamond scroll damask with a string on top of the actual paper. This type of textured wallpaper is similar to grasscloth because with grasscloth, grass is glued onto wallpaper. But here we have glued real string vertically onto the damask wallpaper print.

For example, this pattern is also created with an Ombre affect of colors so it has soft lavender, beige and grey tones blended into the pattern. A luxurious wallpaper is created with we blend color and dimension. With the blended colors and the dimensional aspect of the string texture, a luxurious paper is created. Simple yet elegant. Isn't this a beautiful pattern!
